CorporateConnect.AB Pty Ltd was established in June 2010 and links the corporate sector to Indigenous enterprise and employment opportunities. CorporateConnect.AB is dedicated to working with businesses, government agencies and Indigenous communities to improve life opportunities for Indigenous Australians. Our goal has always been to 'close the gap' in Indigenous disadvantage and to increase the economic independence of communities and individuals in remote, regional and urban areas. We are proudly Indigenous owned and Supply Nation certified.
Since 2008 David Liddiard OAM and Andrea Harms B.A., Dip Ed have worked closely with over sixty corporate partners, numerous government agencies and departments, Aboriginal national and state organisations and community based entities including local Aboriginal Land Councils, with more than 5000 schools and charitable foundations and thousands of Aboriginal youth to impact positive change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and communities.
We do this by:
-Facilitating the development of Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP).
-Indigenous Participation Plans (IPP).
-Developing Indigenous youth and school to work career transition initiatives.
-Supporting community enterprises and employment development activities.
-Undertaking community workforce skills audits.
-Conducting cultural awareness and immersion experiences.
-Corporate networking and CEO mentoring.
-Offering a range of Supply Nation certified products and services that address the Indigenous procurement needs of our corporate partners who have made a commitment to increasing the amount of Indigenous owned business products into their supply chain.
The gulf between Indigenous and other Australians remains wide. Our goal is for Indigenous Australians ultimately to enjoy the same standard of living as other Australians - for them to be as healthy, as long living and as able to participate in the social and economic life of the country.
